Third Floor Wentworth Chambers is pleased to announce the addition of James Hastie to our floor.
Called to the Queensland Bar in 2016, James has a broad commercial practice, appearing regularly both led and unled in State and Federal Courts. He practices mainly in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Federal Court of Australia.
James’ practice is focused on disputes involving corporations, contracts and building and construction projects. His practice mainly involves complicated interlocutory, trial and appellate work.
With NSW matters now accounting for more than a third of his practice, James joined the NSW bar, now holding chambers at Third Floor Wentworth from November 2025.
