Acted as Plaintiffs’ counsel in proceedings against directors and officers as well as underwriters, actuaries, auditors and lawyers acting in relation to the Prospectus for the ill fated New Cap Reinsurance float. After a hearing lasting almost a year, the Plaintiffs were unsuccessful at first instance, but successfully appealed to the Court of Appeal and special leave to appeal to the High Court of Australia was refused.
