Acted as counsel for the London insurers of the Trustee which was sued by investors in the failed Estate Mortgage Trusts for breach of trust. Insurers disclaimed liability for material non-disclosure and dishonesty by the Trustee. The Applicants also sued Directors and Officers, related companies and lawyers. The hearing ran for six months before a favourable multi-party settlement was secured.
