Prior to coming to the Bar, Mirren gained significant experience as a solicitor at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and Dentons in London. As a solicitor, Mirren specialised in banking and finance law primarily in international project finance, energy and infrastructure and renewables. Mirren’s sector experience includes Energy (Renewables, LNG and Gas); Infrastructure (Roads, Ports, Petrochemical plants); Property (Retail and commercial); and PPP and PFI structures (London Underground, Schools, Courts and Hospitals).
Mirren is known for her commercial and pragmatic approach to matters. Her practice has involved dealing with a variety of clients from large financial institutions to SMEs and individuals. Mirren has worked extensively in the corporate and finance sector and has been assigned to work for clients on location in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Dubai, Vienna and Moscow.
Mirren completed her BA (1st Class Hons) at the University of Sydney and went on to obtain her LLB (Upper 2nd) from University College London where she also worked as research assistant to Professor Norman Palmer QC. A CV is available on request.
