Mirren J H Waters
Mirren was admitted as solicitor in England and Wales in 2002 and was called to the NSW Bar in 2019. Mirren accepts work and has particular expertise in banking and finance and corporate law.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Mirren was in practice as a solicitor at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and Dentons in London. Mirren specialised in banking and finance law primarily in international project finance, energy and infrastructure and renewables. Her practice has involved dealing with a variety of clients from large financial institutions to SMEs and individuals. Mirren has worked extensively in the corporate and finance sector and has been assigned to work for clients on location in London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Dubai, Vienna and Moscow.
Mirren completed her BA (1st Class Hons) at the University of Sydney and went on to obtain her LLB (Upper 2nd) from University College London where she also worked as research assistant to Professor Norman Palmer QC.
